Anna Howard Shaw

Location: Next to the old school, present day library; corner of Michigan and Oak.
Description: A statue of Ms. Shaw and Plaque.
Significance Anna Howard Shaw was a leader of the Women's Movement. She was the first woman ordained as a Methodist minister. She was a medical doctor, and President of the National American Women Suffrage Association from 1904-1916.
