Economic Vitality Incentive Program (EVIP)
This program is a result of Public Act 63 of 2011 which requires any cities receiving statutory revenue sharing payment greater than $4,500 in the fiscal year for 2010 to participate to continue to receive revenue sharing from the State of Michigan. It has now continued with Public Act 200 of 2012 and the following areas are being updated as they become due.
In order to receive the state revenue sharing for fiscal year 2012-2013, cities and other municipalities are required to complete three different certification forms. The three areas to be completed and dues dates are:
Accountabiity and Transparency - Due by October 1, 2012
Consolidation of Services - Due by February 1, 2013
Employee Compensation - Due by June 1, 2013.
